Awards

all expenses paid - to perform for diverse audiences. Includes training for "Engaging Audiences" and "Building Programs for Diverse Audiences."

Artist Series of Sarasota (Florida) Green Lake Festival of Music (Wisconsin)

During the competition week, competitors:

  • Receive individual lessons on working with orchestras and conductors with Music Director Andrews Sill
  • Perform a violin/piano or cello/piano duo with a member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra
  • Participate in a Concerto Master Class with a chamber ensemble from the MSO
  • Participate in master classes and rehearsals with distinguished clinicians on topics such as stage presence and "Speaking About Music to Diverse Audiences"
  • Benefit from one-on-one private sessions with distinguished members of the internationally-known jury : José Feghali, Joel Harrison and
    Robert McDonald
  • Perform solos and duos at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music 
  • Perform the Finals & Awards Concert with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra at the
Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts
