Competition Highlights

  • Compete for prizes totaling over $18,000.

  • Win a scholarship award to the International Keyboard Institute & Festival at Mannes College of Music in New York City during the summer of 2009.

  • Perform a full concerto with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and PianoArts Music Director Andrews Sill in the prize round.

  • Perform recitals at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the
    Charles Allis Museum.

  • Rehearse and perform a duo for violin/piano or cello/piano with
    a member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
  • Perform in a workshop setting with a chamber ensemble from the MSO.

  • Receive one-on-one performance evaluations from the judges.

  • Receive private session on collaborative performances with Music Director Andrews Sill.

  • Participate in master classes with world-class clinicians on topics such as perfecting stage presence, competing with confidence, and speaking about music to diverse audiences.

  • Receive future performance opportunities as a PianoArtist-in-Residence.
