Volunteering with PianoArts PianoArts relies on dedicated volunteers to execute its programs, including the biennial competition and the other performance opportunities for its pianists. There is a role for everyone who would like to help. Opportunities for volunteers:
Assist backstage
Chair the contestant registration table
Decorate stages, reception areas and other venues
Document the competition with photography or video
Host a contestant or contestant and parent (good piano needed)
Help coordinate contestant schedules and prepare packets
Music page turner (rehearsals and competition)
Entertain guest artists and judges
Serve as a stage manager
Provide refreshments
Provide transportation
Give tours of the city
Usher
Prepare mailings
Serve as chef
